Cleistocactus ritteri is a slender, columnar cactus known for its upright growth and dense covering of fine spines that give it a silvery-white appearance. Native to Bolivia, this species is prized for its elegant vertical form and striking contrast in cactus collections. During the warmer months, it may produce slender tubular flowers in shades of orange or red, emerging horizontally from the stems.
