Euphorbia Triangularis

Euphorbia trigona, commonly known as Euphorbia Triangularis, is a striking succulent cactus-like plant admired for its upright, triangular stems adorned with small spines along the ridges. Native to Central Africa, this plant is both hardy and architectural, making it a popular choice for indoor and outdoor succulent collections. Its dark green stems are often accented with lighter green or purplish hues, creating a bold and dramatic appearance. Mature plants may produce small, inconspicuous flowers, though it is primarily grown for its sculptural form.

Perfect as a statement plant in pots, succulent gardens, or as part of a vertical display, Euphorbia trigona is low-maintenance yet visually impressive.

Care Tips:

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light to full sun; too little light may cause leggy growth.

• Watering: Water sparingly—allow soil to dry completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.

• Temperature: Prefers warm, dry conditions; protect from frost and temperatures below 10°C (50°F).

• Fertilizer: Feed lightly with a diluted succulent fertilizer during the active growing season (spring and summer).

• Maintenance: Handle with care due to spines; prune carefully if needed to maintain shape.

• Propagation: Can be propagated from stem cuttings; allow cuttings to callus before planting.
