Euphorbia triangularis, commonly known as the African Milk Tree, is an architectural succulent shrub native to southern Africa. Its striking, upright growth features triangular green stems with ridged edges and small paired leaves, giving it a candelabra-like appearance. Over time, it can grow into a tall, tree-like form, making it a standout feature in any succulent collection or xeriscape garden.
This hardy, drought-tolerant plant is ideal for gardeners seeking structure and height. Despite its dramatic form, it requires minimal maintenance and thrives in well-lit environments.
Key Characteristics:
-

-
Small leaves appear along ridges during the growing season
-
Can reach up to 2–3 metres in height when grown outdoors in warm climates

Sap is milky and toxic if ingested or if it comes into contact with skin
