Description

This variegated form of Schlumbergera truncata features flattened, segmented stems with irregular cream, yellow, or pale green markings. The contrast between variegated and green sections gives the plant a softer, decorative look even when not in flower.

Unlike desert cacti, Zygo cactus is a rainforest species that grows naturally on trees or rocks in humid environments. Its stems are smooth and spineless, forming a gently arching or cascading habit over time, making it suitable for pots or hanging displays.

During its flowering season, it produces tubular blooms at the tips of the segments in shades that vary depending on the cultivar. Variegated forms are often chosen for their foliage interest and collector appeal, although they may grow slightly slower than fully green types.
