Stromanthe Tri Colour

Care

Light

Place in a bright position with indirect light. Avoid direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the delicate variegated foliage.

Water

Keep the potting mix evenly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top layer of the mix to begin drying before watering again.

Soil

Grow in a premium, well-draining indoor plant mix that retains moisture while providing good aeration.

Temperature

Thrives in warm indoor conditions and should be protected from cold temperatures and frost.

Humidity

Prefers moderate to high humidity. Higher humidity helps maintain healthy foliage and vibrant leaf colour.

Fertiliser

Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every four to six weeks during spring and summer following the manufacturer's recommendations.

Good to know

The leaves naturally fold upwards during the evening and reopen during the day, a characteristic shared by many plants in the prayer plant family. Avoid exposing the plant to cold drafts or prolonged dry air, as these conditions may cause browning along the leaf edges.
