Sedeveria 'Rolly' – Compact Beauty with a Colorful Twist

Hybrid Origins:
Sedeveria 'Rolly' is an intergeneric hybrid combining the best features of Sedum and Echeveria. The result is a charming, easy-care succulent prized for its compact form and vivid color transitions.

Striking Appearance:
'Rolly' forms dense clusters of short-stemmed rosettes with plump, waxy leaves in a vibrant green hue. When exposed to cool temperatures or strong sunlight, the leaf tips blush with shades of pink, yellow, or red—adding eye-catching contrast. A popular variegated variety also exists, offering cream and green tones with similar colorful highlights.

Compact Growth Habit:
Perfect for containers, rock gardens, or indoor displays, 'Rolly' stays small and forms tight clumps, creating a lush, sculptural effect. Its tidy rosettes and low-maintenance nature make it a favorite for both beginners and collectors.

Light Needs:
Provide full sun to partial shade. For best coloration and compact growth, aim for at least 6 hours of sunlight daily. Without enough light, it may stretch and lose its shape.

Watering Tips:
Like most succulents, 'Rolly' is drought-tolerant. Water deeply only when the soil is completely dry. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot.

Soil & Potting:
Use a fast-draining succulent or cactus mix to ensure healthy root development and prevent excess moisture retention.

Temperature Tolerance:
'Rolly' thrives in warm climates but is not frost-hardy. In colder zones, keep it in a movable container and bring it indoors during freezing weather.

Easy Propagation:
Propagate 'Rolly' effortlessly from leaf or stem cuttings, making it a great choice for sharing with friends or expanding your collection.
