  • Hybrid Origin:

    • It's a hybrid, meaning it's a cross between Sedum and Echeveria, combining the best traits of both genera.

  • Appearance:

    • The most notable feature is its soft, pinkish-lavender leaves, often with a subtle, powdery coating.

    • The leaves are typically spoon-shaped and arranged in compact rosettes.

    • It has a growth habit that can be upright initially, then tending to trail as it matures, making it excellent for hanging planters.

  • Growth:

    • It generally stays relatively compact, making it suitable for small containers and indoor gardens.

    • It produces offsets readily, allowing for easy propagation.

Care Requirements:

  • Light:

    • 'Pink Granite' thrives in bright, indirect sunlight.

    • It can tolerate some direct morning sun, but harsh afternoon sun can cause sunburn.

    • If grown indoors, a south- or east-facing window is ideal.

  • Watering:

    • Like most succulents, it prefers the "soak and dry" method.

    • Water thoroughly when the soil is completely dry, and then allow it to dry out again before watering.

    • Overwatering is the most common cause of problems, so it's best to err on the side of underwatering.

  • Soil:

    • Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix.

    • Adding perlite or coarse sand to the mix can further improve drainage.

  • Temperature:

    • It prefers warm temperatures and is not frost-hardy.

    • If you live in an area with freezing temperatures, it's best to grow it in a container that can be brought indoors during the winter.

  • Propagation:

    • 'Pink Granite' can be easily propagated from leaf cuttings, stem cuttings, or offsets.

The first photo serves a display purpose only. The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 130mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.

Good sized specimens which were well packed and sent interstate. Hope to see them cascading over big pots eventually.
