Rlc. Siam Red King ‘Red Ocean’

Rlc. Siam Red King ‘Red Ocean’ is a bold Cattleya-type orchid prized for its deep red flowers and strong visual presence. It suits bright indoor spaces or protected outdoor growing areas.

The flowers are large and richly coloured, with velvety red tones that stand out in any collection. This orchid grows in a clumping habit with pseudobulbs and thick leaves, typical of Rhyncholaeliocattleya hybrids. It is often chosen by collectors looking for more intense colour compared to softer pastel varieties.

This has been grown in a standard orchid nursery pot, so that size is a good guide if you’re picking a pot for home. We usually ship bare root for freshness and to keep costs low, but we’re happy to pot your plant on request!

Care

Light
Needs bright light to support flowering. A well-lit indoor position or filtered outdoor light works well.

Water when the mix approaches dryness. Avoid overwatering.
