Peperomia 'camouflage' is valued for its attractive foliage and compact growth habit. The leaves have a distinctive colour pattern that gives the plant its eye-catching appearance and makes it an interesting addition to an indoor plant display.
It can work well as a tabletop or shelf plant where bright, filtered light is available. Like other Peperomia, it is best kept in a well-draining growing medium and should not be left sitting in excess water.
Care
Light
Place in bright, indirect or filtered light. Some gentle morning sun may be suitable, but protect the plant from strong afternoon sunlight.
Watering
Allow the growing medium to dry somewhat between waterings. Avoid keeping the roots constantly wet, as excessive moisture can contribute to root problems.
Soil
Use a free-draining potting mix that does not hold excessive moisture around the roots.
Temperature
Keep in a warm, protected position away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes.
Placement
A bright indoor shelf, desk or windowsill can be suitable, provided the plant receives adequate filtered light.
Good to know
Peperomia generally prefers a lighter approach to watering rather than consistently wet conditions. If the leaves begin to look stressed, check the moisture level and growing conditions before increasing watering.
The succulent plant housed in the black pot comes in a 100mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
