Parodia #108

Bring the Vibrant Beauty of Parodia Cacti to Your Collection

Add a touch of South American charm to your home or garden with Parodia Cactus. Known for their attractive rounded shapes, distinctive ribs, decorative spines and colourful seasonal flowers, Parodia cacti are wonderful additions to any cactus collection. Their interesting forms and relatively easy-care nature make them suitable for both beginner growers and experienced cactus enthusiasts.

Features:

Globular Charm: Parodia cacti are admired for their rounded or cylindrical stems, which can grow individually or gradually form attractive clusters.

Decorative Spines: Their green bodies feature prominent ribs adorned with beautiful spines, ranging from fine and delicate to thicker and more colourful varieties.

Beautiful Blooms: One of their most appealing features is their vibrant flowers, which can appear around the crown in shades of yellow, orange, red and pink, depending on the species.

Compact Beauty: Their distinctive growth habit makes them an attractive choice for decorative pots, sunny patios and cactus collections.

Easy Care: Parodia cacti are relatively low-maintenance when provided with suitable sunlight, well-draining soil and careful watering.

Care Tips:

• Sunlight: Provide plenty of bright light and some direct sunlight for healthy growth and flowering. Gradually acclimatise to stronger sunlight.

• Watering: Water during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry between waterings. Reduce watering during cooler dormant periods.

• Soil: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix.

• Temperature: Prefers warm growing conditions. Protect from frost and prolonged cold.

• Indoor/Outdoor: Suitable for bright indoor spaces, sunny patios and sheltered outdoor displays.
