Monadenium coccineum

Care

Light

Grow in a bright position with plenty of indirect light or gentle morning sun. Gradually acclimatise the plant before exposing it to stronger direct sunlight.

Water

Allow the potting mix to dry between waterings. Water more frequently during active growth and reduce watering significantly during cooler months or dormancy.

Soil

Use a premium free-draining cactus and succulent mix to help prevent excess moisture around the roots.

Temperature

Prefers warm conditions and should be protected from frost and prolonged cold weather.

Fertiliser

Feed lightly with a balanced succulent fertiliser during the active growing season.
