Mangave ‘Night Owl’ is a stunning night flowering succulent that distinguishes itself with spectacular dark leaves and a rosette form. It has thick, shiny green to blue-green foliage that make the plant look a bit like it comes out at night, which is why it has the nickname Night Owl. The large, elegantly curved leaves are arranged in a perfect circle and although the plant resembles an Agave in its structure it grows much faster it is easier to care for – thanks to the Manfreda in its genes.

It is an easy to grow succulent plant that is tall, reaching 30-45 cm (12-18 inches) in height, with a spread of 45-60 cm (18-24 inches); excellent for container gardening and for incorporating into landscaping designs. This plant requires full sun to partial shade and requires soil with very good drainage. Like most succulents, Mangave ‘Night Owl’ is a low watering requirement plant that once established demands water only occasionally. Not only does it make a striking ornamental for any succulents garden but also easy to care for and therefore ideal for any gardener – first timer or old hand.
