The variegated Haworthia cuspidata is a striking succulent plant grown in a 130 mm nursery pot. Its compact, architectural growth fits well on bright shelves, indoor plant stands or sheltered patio corners where it can get plenty of light and gentle sunshine.

This plant forms dense rosettes of fleshy, triangular leaves banded with creamy white and pale green variegation. The contrast of colours and spiky, architectural form makes it a favourite for succulent fans and indoor growers. Unlike plain green forms, the variegation adds visual interest and a distinctive look to collections.

Care

Light
Place your variegated Haworthia cuspidata in a bright spot out of harsh, direct midday sun. Variegated plants have less chlorophyll, so they benefit from strong bright light but should be protected from scorching afternoon rays.

Water
Water moderately in the growing season (spring and autumn), allowing the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry between waterings. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows. Avoid sitting in water, as this can lead to root rot.

Soil & Potting
A free‑draining cactus/succulent mix is essential. The 130 mm pot gives room for the plant’s roots to develop and encourages healthy growth. Repot every 1–2 years as it fills the pot, ideally in spring.

Temperature
This plant prefers warm conditions and does well in typical indoor temperatures. Protect it from frost and cold draughts.

Variegated succulents like Haworthia cuspidata can be slightly slower growing than their non‑variegated counterparts. Their patterned leaves make them excellent focal plants in small arrangements or mixed succulent pots.
