Graptopetalum paraguayense 'Variegata', also known as the Variegated Ghost Plant or Mother of Pearl Plant, is a captivating succulent prized for its stunning variegated foliage. This unique cultivar is a variegated form of the popular Graptopetalum paraguayense, known for its ghostly grayish-blue leaves and powdery farina coating.

Key Features:

  • Variegated Leaves:

The most striking feature of this plant is its mesmerizing variegation. The fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves are adorned with irregular patterns of creamy-white, yellow, or pale pink, creating a beautiful contrast with the bluish-gray base color. This variegation pattern can vary from plant to plant, adding to the unique appeal of each specimen.

  • Rosette Formation: Like its parent species, 'Variegata' forms compact rosettes of leaves that create a visually appealing geometric display.

  • Farina Coating: The leaves are covered in a powdery farina coating, giving them a soft, frosted appearance and adding to the plant's ghostly charm.

  • Blooming: In spring or summer, 'Variegata' may produce delicate star-shaped flowers on tall, slender stalks, adding a touch of elegance to its already captivating appearance.

Growing Conditions:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight, but can tolerate some direct sun with adequate watering.

  • Soil: Thrives in well-draining soil mixes specifically formulated for succulents and cacti.

  • Water: Requires moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings.

Overall, Graptopetalum paraguayense 'Variegata' is a visually stunning and relatively low-maintenance succulent that is sure to add a touch of elegance and charm to any collection.

The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 130mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
