Echeveria Topsy Turvy - Crested 130mm

A Sculptural Twist on a Classic Favorite

Discover the surreal beauty of Crested Echeveria 'Topsy Turvy', a rare and eye-catching succulent known for its dramatic, fan-shaped growth and sculptural appeal. Unlike the standard rosette form, this crested version grows in mesmerizing, undulating waves of silvery-blue foliage, making it a true collector’s piece.

Appearance:

Leaves: Thick, fleshy leaves with a distinctive upward curve, giving the rosette a playful, topsy-turvy appearance.

The leaves are covered in a powdery, silvery-blue bloom (farina), enhancing their beauty. The crested form results in a fan-like or brain-like growth pattern, with multiple growing points creating a unique and unpredictable shape.

Size: Varies depending on the degree of cresting, but generally remains compact and slow-growing, making it suitable for containers and small spaces.

Flowers: In the spring or summer, it may produce tall, arching stems with bell-shaped flowers in shades of pink or orange, adding a touch of vibrant color.

Growth Habits and Care:

Sunlight:

Thrives in bright, indirect light or morning sun. Avoid intense afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Soil: Requires well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix, to prevent root rot.

Watering: Water thoroughly when the soil is dry, allowing it to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.

Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). Protect from frost.

Maintenance: Minimal maintenance required.
