Den.Aridang Light Blue

Den.Aridang Light Blue is a striking succulent prized for its soft blue-grey foliage and beautifully symmetrical rosette form. Its powdery leaf coating and compact growth habit make it an attractive choice for bright indoor spaces, patios, and succulent collections.

This succulent develops thick, fleshy leaves with a distinctive light blue tone that can become even more pronounced when grown in bright conditions. The neat rosette shape gives it a sculptural appearance, making it well suited to decorative pots, mixed succulent arrangements, or as a feature plant on a sunny windowsill. Collectors and hobby growers often appreciate this variety for its unique colouring and tidy growth habit.

Want your succulent with a pot?

This plant has been grown in either an 80 mm or 100 mm nursery pot, so that size is a good guide if you're selecting a decorative pot for home. We usually ship bare root for freshness and to help keep delivery costs low, but we're happy to pot your plant on request.

Care Guide

Light

Prefers bright light with several hours of indirect sun each day. Morning sun is generally well tolerated. If moving the plant into stronger sunlight, introduce it gradually to help prevent sunburn.

Watering

Allow the potting mix to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when needed, then allow excess moisture to drain away. Reduce watering during cooler months when growth slows.

Soil

Use a free-draining succulent or cactus mix. Good drainage is important to help maintain healthy roots and reduce the risk of excess moisture around the plant.

Temperature

Best grown in mild to warm conditions. Protect from frost and extended periods of cold, wet weather.

Fertiliser

A light application of a balanced fertiliser during the active growing season can support healthy growth. Avoid excessive feeding.

Good to Know

The attractive blue colouring is often enhanced by the natural powdery coating on the leaves, known as farina. Avoid handling the foliage unnecessarily, as touching the leaves can remove this protective coating and affect the plant's appearance.

FAQ

Is Den.Aridang Light Blue suitable for beginners?

Yes. Like many succulents, it can be a good choice for beginners when provided with bright light and careful watering.

Can it be grown indoors?

Yes. It performs well indoors near a bright window that receives plenty of natural light.

Why are the leaves losing their blue colour?

Insufficient light, frequent handling, or environmental changes may reduce the intensity of the blue tones. Bright conditions generally help maintain the plant's colouration.

The succulent plant housed in the black pot comes in a 100mm and 80mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
