Crassula ovata ‘Ladyfingers’ is an eye-catching succulent known for its narrow, finger-like leaves that give it a striking, sculptural form. This distinctive variety of the classic jade plant is compact, hardy, and easy to care for—making it perfect for beginners and collectors alike. Its glossy green leaves may develop reddish tips when exposed to bright sunlight, adding colour contrast and character.

Key Characteristics:

  • Foliage: Slender, cylindrical leaves resembling fingers; bright green with red-tinged tips in strong light.
  • Growth Habit: Shrubby, upright growth with strong branching potential.
  • Size: Grows up to 60–90 cm tall and wide over time in ideal conditions.
  • Flowers: May produce small clusters of white or pale pink star-shaped flowers in winter under the right conditions.

Care Tips:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to full sun. Sunlight enhances colour and keeps the plant compact.
  • Watering: Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water less frequently in winter.
  • Soil: Use a well-draining succulent or cactus mix. Good drainage is essential.
  • Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 15–25°C. Protect from frost.
  • Fertilising: Feed lightly during the growing season with a diluted succulent fertiliser.
  • Maintenance: Minimal pruning needed. Easily propagated from stem or leaf cuttings.

The first two photos serves a display purpose only. The succulent plant housed in the black pot comes in a 130mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
