Light: Prefers bright light with some direct sun; shield from intense midday heat. Watering: Water sparingly during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry fully between waterings. Keep nearly dry through winter. Soil: Plant in a gritty, fast-draining cactus or succulent mix. Temperature: Heat-tolerant but should be protected from frost. Fertiliser: Feed lightly with a cactus-specific fertiliser in spring and summer.
