The Saguaro Cactus (Carnegiea gigantea) is the most iconic symbol of the American Southwest, known for its towering presence and classic "arms." A slow-growing giant, this cactus starts as a small columnar plant and can take decades to mature – perfect for collectors who appreciate rare and symbolic succulents.
Native to the Sonoran Desert, the Saguaro is known for its upright, ribbed green stems covered in protective spines. While it grows slowly, its presence adds a majestic desert vibe to any collection. In time, with the right conditions, mature plants may even bloom with large, white flowers.
