This eye-catching aloe forms dense rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves adorned with prominent, sharp-tipped teeth—running along the edges and scattered across the leaf surface for a spiny, armored look.

Typically green to bluish-green, the foliage can blush bronze or reddish in full sun or dry conditions, adding rich color variation throughout the seasons.

Main Characteristics:

• Compact rosette of broad, thick, toothed leaves
• Leaf colour ranges from green to reddish-bronze depending on light and water levels
• Distinctive spines along leaf margins and surfaces
• May produce tall flower spikes with orange to red tubular flowers
• Drought-tolerant and suitable for xeriscaping

Care Instructions:

• Light: Prefers full sun to light shade. Bright light enhances colour and compact growth
• Water: Water deeply but infrequently. Allow soil to dry completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter
• Soil: Well-draining, gritty soil is essential. Use a cactus or succulent mix
• Temperature: Tolerates heat well but should be protected from hard frost
• Maintenance: Low-maintenance. Remove spent flower stalks and dried lower leaves for appearance
• Propagation: Can be propagated by offsets if present, or from seed in controlled conditions
