Hildewintera colademononis, commonly known as the Monkey’s Tail Cactus, is a striking and rare cactus species native to Bolivia. It is admired for its long, trailing stems densely covered with fine white hairs, giving it the distinctive look of a monkey’s tail. This fast-growing plant thrives in hanging baskets where its shaggy stems can grow over two metres in length.

• Long, cascading stems covered in soft white spines

• Bright red to deep pink tubular flowers bloom in spring and summer

• Prefers bright, indirect sunlight and well-drained soil

Care Instructions:

• Water only when the soil is completely dry

• Keep in a warm, protected position away from frost

• Use a cactus-specific potting mix for best results

• Reduce watering during winter dormancy
