Agave parviflora – Small-Flower Agave | Miniature Sculptural Agave with White Filaments

Add striking contrast and architectural charm to your plant collection with Agave parviflora, a rare and exquisite miniature agave native to Arizona and northern Mexico. This compact species forms tight, symmetrical rosettes of deep green leaves adorned with intricate white markings and curling white filaments—giving it the appearance of a living sculpture.

Though small in size, its bold form makes a big impact in containers, rock gardens, or curated succulent displays. Exceptionally slow-growing and hardy, it's a collector's favorite for good reason.

Key Features:

Symmetrical dark green rosette with narrow leaves

Distinctive white markings and decorative curling threads

Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance

Perfect for small pots, succulent collections, or xeriscaping

Cold-hardy down to -10°C (14°F)

Rare and slow-growing—ideal for collectors

Care Guide:

  • Light: Full sun to partial shade; ensure bright light for best growth
  • Water: Infrequent; allow soil to dry completely between waterings
  • Soil: Sharp-draining cactus or succulent mix
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm climates
  • Fertiliser: Light feeding in spring/summer with diluted cactus fertiliser
  • Growth Habit: Solitary and very slow-growing; may flower after many years with a tall bloom spike
