Crassula ovata ‘Lemon and Lime’ is a striking variegated form of the traditional jade plant, known for its fleshy, oval leaves streaked with lime green, yellow, and creamy white. In cooler temperatures or strong light, the leaf edges may develop soft pink tones, adding even more charm to this hardy succulent. Its upright, branching habit makes it ideal for indoor pots, succulent gardens, or bonsai.

Key Characteristics:

  • Foliage: Glossy, variegated leaves in shades of green, yellow, and cream; pink blush in strong light.
  • Growth Habit: Bushy and upright with thick stems that develop a woody appearance over time.
  • Size: Can grow up to 1 metre tall in pots over time.
  • Flowers: Small, star-shaped white to pale pink flowers may appear in winter under the right conditions.
  • Longevity: Long-lived and easy to propagate, often passed down through generations.

Care Tips:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Full sun enhances variegation and colour.
  • Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.
  • Soil: Requires well-draining soil such as cactus or succulent mix.
  • Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 15–25°C. Protect from frost.
  • Fertilising: Use a balanced, diluted fertiliser during spring and summer.
  • Maintenance: Prune to shape and encourage branching. Easily propagated from leaf or stem cuttings.

The first photo serves a display purpose only. The succulent plant housed in the black pot comes in a 80mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
