The Pincushion Cactus, scientifically known as Mammillaria bombycina, is a charming and distinctive cactus species that belongs to the Mammillaria genus. Mammillaria bombycina is native to Mexico and is highly valued among cactus enthusiasts for its compact size and eye-catching features. The plant typically grows to a diameter of around 3 to 4 inches (7 to 10 centimeters) and reaches a height of 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 centimeters).

The flowering period typically occurs during the spring or early summer months.
