Cleistocactus samaipatanus f. cristatus, commonly referred to as the cristate form of Cleistocactus samaipatanus, is a unique cactus with a fascinating growth pattern. Cleistocactus samaipatanus f. cristatus features long, hair-like spines that can vary in color but are often golden or reddish-brown.Cleistocactus samaipatanus f. cristatus produces small, tubular flowers that emerge from the sides of the ridges.

This cactus variety requires well-draining soil and thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. It makes an exceptional addition to succulent and cactus collections, rock gardens, and xeriscaping projects.
