Native to Madagascar, Kalanchoe tomentosa is a beloved succulent prized for its soft, velvety silver-green leaves, each delicately edged with brown to maroon spots. Its fuzzy texture and compact form make it a standout in containers, windowsills, or mixed succulent displays. Low-maintenance and eye-catching, it’s a perfect choice for plant lovers of all levels.

- Growth Habit: Upright and branching; forms a compact, shrubby plant.
- Size: Typically reaches 30–45 cm tall indoors.
- Texture: Soft, velvety leaves with a plush feel, making it a tactile favourite.
- Longevity: Slow-growing and long-lived, ideal for indoor environments.
Care Tips:
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some direct sun, which enhances leaf colour.
- Watering: Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly, especially in cooler months.
- Soil: Prefers well-draining succulent or cactus mix.
- Temperature: Best in temperatures between 15–25°C. Protect from frost and excess humidity.
- Fertilising: Light feeding in spring and summer with a diluted succulent fertiliser.
- Maintenance: Very low-maintenance. Avoid getting water on the leaves, as it can cause spotting or rot
