Graptosedum glauca is a hardy and attractive succulent hybrid known for its compact rosettes and striking silvery-blue foliage. The fleshy, pointed leaves are arranged in tight spirals, often developing a soft powdery coating (farina) that enhances their glaucous appearance. With ample sunlight, the leaf tips may take on hints of pink or lavender, adding extra dimension to its cool-toned colour palette.

This low-growing succulent is perfect for containers, rock gardens, and cascading over the edges of pots or walls. It’s also fast-growing compared to many succulents and will quickly form clusters of offsets that fill out a space beautifully.

Key Characteristics

  • Compact rosettes with silvery-blue, pointed leaves
  • Hints of pink or purple on leaf tips in bright light
  • Fast-growing and forms spreading clumps
  • Powdery farina coating for a soft, matte finish
  • Ideal for containers, borders, and mixed succulent displays
  • Drought-tolerant and easy to care for

Care Tips

  • Light: Prefers full sun to partial shade; brighter light enhances colour
  • Watering: Water deeply but infrequently; allow soil to dry completely between waterings
  • Soil: Use well-draining soil suitable for succulents or cacti
  • Temperature: Protect from frost; thrives in warm, dry climates
  • Fertilising: Feed lightly in spring and summer with a diluted succulent fertiliser
  • Propagation: Easily propagated from stem or leaf cuttings
  • Maintenance: Trim leggy growth to maintain a compact shape

The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 80mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
