Euphorbia geroldii is a unique and easy-care succulent shrub, often referred to as the Thornless Crown of Thorns. Unlike its spiny relatives, this variety features smooth stems and no thorns, making it ideal for indoor or outdoor use where a softer, friendlier plant is preferred.
This tropical beauty produces bright red to coral-colored flowers almost year-round in warm climates, adding a vibrant splash of color to your space. Its lush green, oval-shaped leaves provide a lovely contrast to the blooms, and the plant is well-suited for pots, garden beds, or as a low hedge in frost-free areas.
Care Tips:
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Can tolerate full sun with acclimation.
- Water: Allow soil to dry between waterings; drought-tolerant once established.
- Soil: Well-draining cactus or succulent mix is ideal.
- Temperature: Best suited for warm climates; protect from frost.
The first two photos serves a display purpose only. The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 130mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.

I purchased the Euphorbia geroldii on Aug 13 2023. \nI like to grow most plants hydroponically. It was a big challenge to try Euphorbia geroldii in aquaponics. At first, all the leaves fell off, but now it has adapted well to water under plant lights and has bloomed many flowers. I really wanted to show you how well your plants are growing with pictures. I am happy to have met such a precious plant.
