Phalaenopsis Summer Rose 'Blue Star' is a captivating orchid hybrid renowned for its abundant and vibrant blooms. This unique orchid is a multi-species hybrid with a complex lineage, inheriting traits from various Phalaenopsis species, including equestris, violacea, and pulcherrima.

Blooms: The most striking feature of 'Blue Star' is its profusion of flowers. The blooms are typically 2-4 cm in size The blooms have a delicate, sparkling appearance, hence the name 'Blue Star.' It also boasts a faint but lovely floral fragrance, reminiscent of hyacinth.

Growth Habit: This orchid exhibits a compact and upright growth habit, with foliage resembling that of Phalaenopsis pulcherrima. It is known to be a very floriferous and sequential bloomer, often producing multiple flower spikes with a high flower count.

Care Requirements:

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

• Temperature: Thrives in intermediate to warm temperatures (18-24°C).

• Watering: Water when the potting medium is nearly dry, typically once a week.
