Stapelia variegata is a species of succulent plant native to South Africa. It belongs to the genus Stapelia, which is part of the family Apocynaceae.

Cultural Requirements:
Light: Full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Well-draining, gritty soil mix.
It prefers a well-draining soil mix and bright, indirect light.
It is also relatively drought-tolerant However, its strong odor may not be appreciated by everyone, so it's best to keep it in a well-ventilated area.
They emit a strong, unpleasant odor that is often described as resembling that of rotting flesh, which attracts flies for pollination.
