Sempervivums are ornamental succulents with tufted leaves in rosettes that spread rapidly via offsets forming clumping mounds, and grow in a wide variety of colours. Strawberry Kiwi is a larger variety that is a bright green colour with burgundy red tips.

Flower:

• It has slender flower spikes of small star shaped flowers appearing in spring to summer.

Rosette:

• Form: Compact rosette of fleshy leaves.

• Shape: Rosettes with pointed, triangular leaves.

Cultural Requirements:

• Light: Full sun to partial shade; bright light enhances coloration.

• Soil: Well-draining, rocky or sandy soil.
