Sempervivum are very hardy plants and come from the crassulaceae family. Sempervivum, commonly known as Hens and Chicks or Houseleeks, encompasses a diverse genus of succulent plants celebrated for their rosette-forming habit and resilience.

Leaves/Growing:

• There are over 4o species and this is just one of them, grow in full sun but do not over water.

• I keep them in pots in morning sun and they still thrive, the biggest problem I find is they are prone to mealy bug so make sure you clean out any dry leaves from the bottom of the plant as this is where bugs like to hide.

• Sempervivum with dark centers typically form tight rosettes of fleshy leaves, each radiating from a central point.
