Faucaria tigrina, commonly known as Tiger’s Jaw, is a captivating and distinctive succulent that belongs to the Aizoaceae family, native to South Africa.

Growth Habit: Tiger’s Jaw forms low, compact clumps of thick, triangular leaves, growing up to 4 inches in height and spreading 6 inches wide. Its growth pattern and small size make it ideal for container gardens, rock gardens, and small outdoor spaces.

Leaf Characteristics: The leaves of Faucaria tigrina are its most striking feature. They are fleshy and triangular, resembling the open jaws of a tiger, complete with "teeth"—soft, spiny edges that do not harm to the touch.

Flowers: Faucaria tigrina blooms prolifically in the fall, producing bright yellow, daisy-like flowers that open in the afternoon sun.

Rock and Xeriscape Gardens: Well-suited for rock gardens and xeriscaped areas, blending well with other drought-tolerant plants.
