It is a succulent plant that belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family. Leaves/Growing: In its natural habitat, Euphorbia trigona 'Royal Red' can produce small, greenish-yellow flowers. Known as African milk tree or Cathedral Plant, this beautiful euphorbia will grow up to 3 metres in height if allowed. This one is very similar to the trigona green only this one has purple leaves giving it a striking appearance.
