Dischidia nummularia, also known as String of Nickels, is a tropical epiphytic vine that belongs to the milkweed family, Apocynaceae. It is native to Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.String of Nickels is a popular houseplant, valued for its attractive, small, round, and succulent leaves that grow in opposite pairs along its thin stems.

The leaves are about the size of a nickel, hence the name "String of Nickels". The plant's stems can grow up to several feet long, and it produces tiny, white or yellow flowers that are not particularly showy.This plant is also popular among collectors of indoor plants due to its unique appearance and the fact that it is relatively easy to care for.
