Senecio serpens "Blue Chalk Sticks Dwarf," also known as "Blue Chalksticks," is a visually striking and low-maintenance succulent that belongs to the Asteraceae family. This cultivar is a compact version of the popular "Blue Chalksticks" succulent, known for its distinctive blue-green foliage and drought-tolerant nature.

"Blue Chalk Sticks Dwarf" is its ability to form a dense ground cover or fill in gaps in rock gardens, succulent arrangements, or container plantings.Its compact growth habit and striking blue color make it an excellent choice for adding visual interest to various outdoor and indoor spaces.It thrives in full sun to partial shade and can tolerate a variety of soil types as long as they are well-draining.

Some of the common names include Blue Senecio, Blue Fingers, Blue Ice Plant, Blue Chalk Sticks. Another name is Kleinia talinoides, can grow up to 40 cm tall and approx 60 cm wide. Also called Blue Chalk sticks because of the lovely bluish colour it becomes. Prefers a morning sun position, beware of frosts and do not over water. This is the plant that Mermaids tail may form from.
