Scilla violacea, commonly known as the Violet Squill, is a charming and petite flowering bulbous plant that belongs to the Asparagaceae family.The leaves of Scilla violacea are narrow and strap-like, arising from the base of the plant. They are typically green and grow in a basal rosette.

The main attraction of Scilla violacea is its stunning violet-blue flowers.This plant has a low-growing and clumping growth habit.Scilla violacea is generally low-maintenance.

A very attractive bulbous plant, bulbs must be above the soil. The leaves are grayish green with dark green markings. Seems to be easy to grow and is a shade lover or will grow in semi shade.
