Rhipsalidopsis, commonly known as "Easter Cactus" or "Spring Cactus," is a genus of cacti in the family Cactaceae. These cacti are native to the rainforests of Brazil and are well-loved for their vibrant and showy flowers, which often bloom around the Easter season, hence the name "Easter Cactus."

The most striking feature of Rhipsalidopsis is its eye-catching flowers, which can come in various colors, including red, pink, purple, orange, and white. The flowers are tubular or bell-shaped, and they usually have numerous petals, giving them a showy appearance.

Rhipsalidopsis is an epiphytic cactus which means it grows well in the canopies of trees, perfect for hanging pots. As long as it gets mottled light or early morning sun it should thrive.
