Drimiopsis is a genus of perennial plants that belongs to the family Asparagaceae. Native to various regions in Africa, particularly South Africa and Madagascar, Drimiopsis plants are known for their attractive foliage and unique flowers.

Growing:

• Drimiopsis are shade lovers and grow from bulbs.

• This one has lovely mottled leaves and will fill a pot pretty quickly.

• Looks great in a hanger, or any pot.

• Grow in early or mottled sunlight. Prefers it dry.

• In terms of size, Drimiopsis plants are generally small to medium-sized, with mature plants reaching a height of about 8 to 16 inches (20 to 40 cm).

Strap-Like Leaves:

• Drimiopsis species are characterized by long, strap-like leaves that emerge from a central bulb.

Uses:

• They are well-suited for container gardening or as additions to rock gardens and shaded borders.
