The "String of Bananas" gets its name from its appearance, which closely resembles a cascading string of miniature bananas. Its elongated, fleshy leaves are a soft shade of green and have a characteristic oblong shape with a curved contour, resembling a string of connected beads.As a trailing succulent, the "String of Bananas" has a natural tendency to drape over the edges of pots or hanging baskets, creating an attractive and cascading display.

This succulent is relatively low-maintenance, making it an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. It thrives in bright indirect sunlight.the "String of Bananas" may produce small, dainty, white or pale pink flowers that add a delicate touch to the overall appearance of the plant. Senecio string of bananas is an unusual hanging plant. The leaves are olive green and quite long, grow in morning sun and ideal for a hanger.
