Euphorbia Monadenium Coccineum, also known as Masai Spurge, is a fascinating succulent shrub native to the rocky, open scrublands of Tanzania.

Key Characteristics:

• Caudex: The plant develops a prominent caudex, a swollen base that stores water and nutrients, giving it a sculptural and bulbous appearance. The caudex can grow quite large over time, adding to its unique appeal.

• Slender, Upright Stems: From the caudex, numerous slender, upright stems emerge. These stems are often adorned with reddish-tinged leaves that add a touch of color and interest.

• Deciduous Leaves: The leaves are typically deciduous, meaning they fall off during the dormant period in the winter months or when the plant is stressed due to drought.

• Colorful Cyathia: In place of traditional flowers, Euphorbia Monadenium Coccineum produces clusters of small, colorful cyathia. These are specialized structures that resemble flowers and can range from pink to red, adding a vibrant touch to the plant.
